Welcome to the Curran Apple Orchard

10-2 002

We regret that all tours and the Cider Squeeze are cancelled this year due to Covid-19 health concerns.
Everyone is still welcome to visit the orchard; however, please be aware that no bathroom facilities are
available at this time.

The Curran Apple Orchard Park is a 7.33 acre apple orchard located within the City of University Place. Created as a hobby orchard in the early 1950s, the orchard today offers residents and visitors a multitude of opportunities.

More than 200 trees with more than 15 varieties of apples offer a tranquil place to enjoy nature along with providing food and shelter for birds, bees, small wildlife and deer.

The CORE (Curran Orchard Resource Enthusiasts) volunteer group works with the City on orchard maintenance issues along with sponsoring various events. CORE currently meets in a virtual meeting the first Tuesday of each month at 6pm via Zoom. Everyone is welcome to to attend! Please contact apples@curranappleorchard.com to obtain speciific meeting details.

Some of the CORE activities include the Adopt-A-Tree programtree care and insect education classes, pruning parties, tours, summer concerts and the annual Cider Squeeze in the fall.

Volunteers are always welcome to assist with one time or ongoing events.
