Welcome to the Curran Apple Orchard
Park hours are 8am to dusk daily.
The Curran Apple Orchard Park is a 7.33 acre apple orchard located within the City of University Place. Created as a hobby orchard in the early 1950s, the orchard today offers residents and visitors a multitude of opportunities.
More than 200 trees with more than 15 varieties of apples offer a tranquil place to enjoy nature along with providing food and shelter for birds, bees, small wildlife and deer.
The CORE (Curran Orchard Resource Enthusiasts) volunteer group works with the City on orchard maintenance issues along with sponsoring various events. CORE meets the first Tuesday of each month from 6pm-8pm in the UP Civic complex, Windmill Village, 3715 Bridgeport Way W, Room E-2, University Place. Everyone is invited to attend!
Volunteers are always welcome to assist with one time or ongoing events.
