Adopt A Tree Program

A Delicious Way to Support the Park !!!

Anyone can "adopt" an apple tree for one harvest season. Tree adoptions also make great gifts for birthdays or other special occasions!!! There are several adoption categories available:

Adopter

Interested people can adopt a tree for one harvest season at a time for $35. The adopter is required to prune their tree during one of the scheduled pruning parties at the orchard.

If adopters are unable to prune their trees, they will forfeit priority status for future adoption renewals. Suggested tree maintenance tasks include thinning apples in the Spring and hanging provided insect traps. All adopters are entitled to harvest apples from their trees.

Orchard Supporter

Orchard Supporter adoptions are available for people who cannot participate in tree maintenance but who wish to help fund maintenance expenses in the orchard. All levels of adopters are entitled to harvest apples from their trees. All adopter names will appear on their trees and in the city newsletter.

Orchard Supporters can help fund the cost of maintaining the orchard by contributing at one of the five levels of membership. For $50 or more, you can still adopt a tree and harvest the fruit; however, volunteers will maintain your tree for you. With the "Orchard Supporter" memberships you are still entitled to harvest the apples during the fall harvest days.
