Volunteering at the Orchard

The Curran Apple Orchard has many volunteer opportunities throughout the year! We have something for everyone - whether it is a one time task or ongoing project. Everyone is welcome! Community service hours are available for volunteers participating in orchard activities.

Anyone under 18 must provide a signed volunteer liability release form before volunteering.

2026 Volunteer Opportunities:

January-March​

Help prune, drag branches, weed, and/or spread mulch

2026 Pruning Dates:

January 31, February 7 and 21, March 7, 21, and 28 at 10am-1pm

(weekdays available upon request)

Hang insect traps 

Pick up windfalls

Monitor insect traps

Annual Cider Squeeze

Community Harvest Day: Greet and assist visitors, check out picking equipment, provide adoption information, and/or pick up windfalls.​
